A Day at Dachshtober Long Dog Festival

Celebrating community, connection, and all things dachshund.

Last weekend, the Nooa team packed up the car and drove two hours from Sydney to Newcastle to join the Dachshtober Long Dog Festival at the Newcastle Harness Racing Club — and what an incredible day it was.

From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by wagging tails, happy paws, and the warmest dog-loving community. It was such a joy to meet so many fur parents and their long little legends, chat with our amazing customers, and connect with partners who share our passion for stylish, functional dog gear.

The atmosphere was nothing short of amazing — filled with laughter, friendly barks, and the excitement of the Dachshund Races. Our CEO (and resident sausage dog), Jerky, was thrilled to meet new friends, say hi to familiar faces, and soak up all the cuddles and attention.

We’re truly grateful to have been part of such a special event that celebrates the bond between dogs and their humans — something that inspires everything we do at Nooa. Events like these remind us why we love being part of this community: it’s about more than just beautiful products; it’s about connection, play, and shared moments that make every adventure better.
