A Day Out for Jacaranda Season — Sydney in Bloom

There’s a certain kind of magic that comes to Sydney every spring — when the jacarandas begin to bloom and the streets are brushed with soft shades of lavender. It’s the season that makes every walk feel a little more romantic, and every outing with your pup a little more special.
For this perfect spring morning, our CEO, Jerky and daily dose of joy got ready for a little city adventure. He slipped into his Water Resistant Collar, SoftNest Harness and Hands-Free Leash in Blush Purple, our favourite shade this season (and the perfect match to the jacarandas above). His Grab & Go Poop Bag Holder clipped neatly in place — because style and practicality should always go hand in hand.
We started our day at Lou Lou Bistro (61 Lavender Street) in Milsons Point, a beautiful dog-friendly café where the staff greeted Jerky with pats and smiles. Coffee in hand, sunshine spilling through the trees, and the Sydney Harbour glimmering nearby — mornings like this remind us why we love this city so much.

After breakfast, we wandered down towards Milsons Park (McDougall Street, Kirribilli), just a few minutes’ walk away. The park was alive with dogs, families, and that soft shower of jacaranda petals drifting gently onto the grass. Jerky trotted happily beside us, his leash swaying lightly as we walked under the purple canopy. Every corner seemed painted with spring, and every tail wag felt a little slower, a little happier.
There’s something about these simple days — coffee runs, walks through tree-lined streets, and small pauses under the blooms — that make us realise how much joy our dogs bring into our everyday lives.
At Nooa, these are the moments that inspire everything we create. Walks that feel easy, movement that feels natural, and a touch of beauty in the ordinary.
As the afternoon light began to fade, Jerky gave one last shake of his fluffy ears before heading home — a little tired, a little spoiled, and fully content after a day spent under Sydney’s purple sky.
